Scrolling through Facebook ‘news’ this morning…

My heart breaks for this generation. Actually, my heart breaks for anyone of any age who reads this garbage.

“Writers” have hit an all-time low.

Mind you, I don’t expect the Dan Rather / Barbara Walters level of reporting, especially on social media. But today it just hit me with the realization that rock bottom doesn’t seem to exist when it comes to stupidity, depravity, and narcissism.

Here are some headlines from today’s ‘news’:

• “‘Brazilian Hulk’ bodybuilder who injected oil into his muscles dead at 55”
• “Jessica Alves “95% happy” after transitioning from human Ken to human Barbie”
• “Tesla wants you to sit in a wet dumpster while your car charges “

The term ‘fluid’ also appeared in my fyp.

Demi Lovato has decided to return to using the she/her pronouns. Her reasoning: “I’m such a fluid person…”

To that point I’d like to remind anyone reading this post that we are all like Demi Lovato.

Humans are, on average, 60% water.

Also, I have questions (mostly because I refuse to read the clickbait):

• How did that guy not die sooner, and would it have made a difference if he used olive oil or Valvoline?
• What % was the person happy prior to bodily mutilation?
• Who owns a Tesla?

There were also two extremely vulgar and pornographic headlines that Facebook recommended to me. I reported them.

Not today, Satan. Not any day.
